                      Beauty

God and His works are wondrous indeed -
He has given so freely to meet every need.
Creator of all, and such beauty about,
The sunrise alone would cause one to shout;
And what can compare with the beauty of a rose,
Or a stream on the mountain as gently it flows?
Such beauty there is in the heavens above,
With the moon and stars proclaiming God’s love;
And lovelier still, the embrace of a friend,
Expressing the purity of love within -
But the Greatest of all beauties God wants us to see,
Is the Gift of his Son on Mount Calvary.
